The Albanese Government has delivered on its election commitment to provide $150,000 to the Agnes Water IMPACT Community Health Service (ICHS) to refurbish their existing facilities.
The ICHS provides crucial primary care to the community through co-located and visiting health providers, along with nursing and allied health services.
With the nearest hospital more than 90 minutes away from Agnes Water, the ICHS is crucial part of the local community’s health network.
The upgrade ensures that the ICHS can continue to provide high quality healthcare to the Agnes Water community, where and when they need it, while also taking pressure off existing facilities in the Central Queensland area.
The Albanese Government is committed to improving access to primary health care across Australia, particularly the regional and remote communities across Central Queensland.
